BIO
The LivingStones began playing together in 2006 as a youth group band at their home congregation, Our Shepherd Lutheran, in Birmingham, MI. As high school students, they spent countless Sunday afternoons practicing, honing their musical skills, writing songs, and growing tighter as a band. In 2010 they released their first EP, You and I. In 2011 they released their first full-length, original album, Glow, and in 2012, they released their Worship EP.
The band has led worship, played for chapel services and school assemblies, played at youth gatherings and camps for over 1000 students, led lock-ins and performed concerts across Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee and Florida. They recently had the privilege of leading worship at Mission camp in Mexicali, Mexico, and performed at The Big Ticket Festival. They find musical influence from bands such as Relient K, Attaboy and Switchfoot. The LivingStones are 4 ordinary guys with an incredible passion for music, and consider it a privilege to spend their time interacting with their fans and worshiping God.

In what was our first run at our new summer camp experience, The Living Stones helped make it a week we'll never forget. The LivingStones led worship for over 1000 students gathered from around North America on a mission trip to Mexico and totally rocked! They did an amazing job up front, but more importantly, they are the real deal off stage. I had the privilege of spending almost every waking moment with them during that trip so I got to see what they were really like; they are genuine Christ followers, have a heart for ministry, and are constantly learning how to be more effective worship leaders and musicians. Plus, they are hilarious and great to hang out with! Any church, ministry, camp, or school would be lucky to have these guys come to their event.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with The LivingStones at 3 or 4 youth gatherings for both junior and senior high school students. All four members exude a loving, Christ-centered spirit, which resonates well both on stage and off. These Christian young men have a strong dedication to the mission behind the music and serve as wonderful role models to any youth that they may encounter. From a professional standpoint, they are flexible to any venue and work well under pressure. It’s been a pleasure to work with a group that is this uniquely gifted as well as courteous and organized. The LivingStones did a great job hosting a youth concert for our group. Their music was great (of course! Haven’t you listened to it!?) and they were very personable and entertaining on stage. Even more than that, they did a great job interacting with our high schoolers both before and after the concert, played games, and set a great example.
